1.1. Groove On Cultural Association for Sustainable Development, with headquarters in Bucharest, 13 Turnu Măgurele Street, Sector 4, registered in the Special Register of Associations and Foundations under number 64/31.07.2012, VAT number 30709684, with account in lei no. IBAN RO25 RZBR 0000 0600 1508 7905, opened at Raiffeisen Bank – Victoriei Agency, represented by president Onea Viorel Ionuț, as the Organizer
and
1.2. The participant in the camp (the participant’s name is found in the registration form), as the Beneficiary.
2.1. By completing the Registration Form on the website www.laorigini.org and by paying in full or the advance payment for participation in the summer workshop, the Beneficiary accepts the Terms and Conditions of these activities, whether or not a written document has been signed.
3.1. The object of the Terms and Conditions represents the provision by the Organizer of the complete camp/summer workshop services (accommodation, meals, and activities), as described in the presentation of the camp/summer workshop.
4.1. The Terms and Conditions apply for a specified period, starting from the date of completion of the Registration Form and full payment or advance payment, and end with the completion of the workshop/camp – the series chosen by the Beneficiary.
5.1. The participation fee is specified in the general description of the workshop/camp (according to the period of the chosen series by the Beneficiary) and will be paid online into the account specified by the Organizer, as follows:
240 EUR (Early Bird, from February 15th to March 31st, 2024), within five working days from the payment confirmation in the account indicated by the Organizer, (the place will be considered reserved only after sending the proof of payment)
or
60 EUR deposit (Late Bird), within five working days from the payment confirmation in the account indicated by the Organizer, (the place will be considered reserved only after sending the payment order, with the paid deposit) The difference in payment (240 EUR) will be made online upon entry into the workshop/camp.
5.2 The “NEWSLETTER Sign-Up” promotion offers a 10% discount off the price of your first participation in a La Origini Summer Workshop. It is valid from February 15, 2024, to May 31, 2024, and applies only to LATE BIRD bookings and cannot be combined with other types of discounts (for example, EARLY BIRD).
5.3 Individuals who have previously participated in a La Origini camp/workshop receive a 10% discount off the ticket price. This can be combined with the 20% EARLY BIRD discount if the booking is made between February 15 and April 15 (subject to availability).
6.1. If the Beneficiary renounces, for any reason, to the summer workshop/camp to which he/she has registered, the following penalties apply:
the amount paid to confirm participation will not be refunded by the Organizer; If the minimum number of participants is not reached or, for certain reasons concerning the Organizer, the summer workshop/camp does not take place, the Beneficiary will receive in the account indicated by him/her the entire amount he/she has paid up to that moment.
7.1. To organize all the services mentioned in the presentation.
7.2. To ensure accommodation and meals as they were mentioned in the presentation.
7.3. To provide the necessary logistics for organizing all the specific activities of the summer workshop/camp.
7.4. To present the Participation Regulation to all participants.
8.1. To pay the agreed participation fee, respecting the payment terms stipulated in Article V of this document.
8.2. To respect both the entry and exit times of the summer workshop/camp, as well as its schedule.
8.3. To respect the rules in the following Participation Regulation (presented below).
These conduct rules apply to all participants in the Summer Workshop organized by the La Origini team (Groove ON Cultural Association for Sustainable Development).
9.1. Strict compliance with the workshop schedule (activities, meals, rest hours, etc.).
9.2. Participants are not allowed to leave the location of the activities without the organizer’s consent.
9.3. Compliance with the instructions given to the participants by the Organizers during the activities.
9.4. In case the instructions of the Organizers were not clear or were not well understood, the participant must ask for further clarifications.
9.5. The use of all protective materials during activities is mandatory (protective helmets, gloves, safety glasses, etc.).
9.6. Deterioration or destruction of goods owned by the Organizers (furniture, equipment, appliances, etc.), goods made available by the Organizers or partners (such as, but not limited to: equipment, working materials, logistics necessary for organizing workshop/camp activities, etc.), or goods belonging to other participants in the workshop/camp is strictly prohibited. The cost of replacing these damaged, lost, or destroyed goods will be fully borne by the participant in question.
9.7. Consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
9.8. The camp organizers do not assume responsibility for any illnesses of participants that prove to come from the consumption of foods not included in the camp’s daily menu.
9.9. Participants will not possess or use items that may endanger their health or that of others, such as: fireworks, explosives, chemical substances, toxic, irritating, etc.
9.10. Participants will not appropriate items that do not belong to them. In case they find such items, they will immediately inform the camp staff.
9.11. Occasional connections with unknown persons will be avoided.
9.12. It is forbidden to introduce strangers into the accommodation areas.
9.13. The camp organizers do not assume responsibility for the loss, deterioration, or disappearance of personal belongings (including money) if they have not been insured and supervised by the participant.
9.14. Participants will not bring medicines to the camp unless they are following a treatment prescribed by a doctor.
9.15. Participants will have a respectful attitude towards all persons in the camp and will not disturb others with their behavior.
9.16. Physical or verbal violence is not accepted.
9.17. Non-compliance with the measures specified in this Participation Regulation by the Beneficiary (participant in the workshop) leads to the following sanctions:
Warning / reprimanding the persons guilty of violating these rules and/or other legal provisions; In case of serious offenses, such as: consumption of prohibited substances, absence or refusal to participate in daily activities without valid reasons, theft, violent or racist outbursts, failure to comply with the conduct rules provided in this contract – the organizer is entitled to withdraw the person concerned from the camp without the possibility of refunding the service payment.
9.18. Other behavior rules for participants will be presented at the official opening of the summer workshop, and the complete regulation will be displayed prominently within the workshop/camp venue.
10.1. In case of non-compliance with these rules, the organizers do not assume responsibility for the resulting consequences.
11.1. The Organizer is not liable for the non-performance or partial performance of any obligation under this contract, if the non-performance or improper performance of that obligation was caused by force majeure, as defined by law.
11.2. The cancellation of a workshop/camp as a result of firm decisions of state authorities or in situations beyond the control of the Organizer (including, but not limited to: extreme adverse weather conditions, state of emergency, epidemics, etc.), relieves the Organizer from refunding the amounts paid up to that moment by the Beneficiary.
11.3. In the context of the SARS-COV2 pandemic, the infection of the Beneficiary or any member of his/her family with this virus or the establishment of quarantine or isolation measures at home according to the regulations in force, does not represent a force majeure event, being not an absolutely unforeseeable or insurmountable event. Therefore, in the event of such an unwanted situation that would make it impossible for the Beneficiary to attend the workshop/camp, the Organizer will be exempt from returning the amount paid as a deposit. If the Beneficiary assigns the contract to another Beneficiary, he/she can recover exclusively from the latter any amount paid up to that moment to the Organizer.
12.1. In the opinion of the contracting parties, any notification addressed by one of them to the other is validly fulfilled if it is sent to the contact email address laorigini.muzeulviu@gmail.com for the Organizer, and to the address mentioned by the Beneficiary in the Registration Form.
12.2. Verbal notifications are not taken into account by either party.
13.1. The Beneficiary agrees that the images (photos or videos) taken by the Organizer during the camp activities may be used without commercial purpose on the camp’s website www.laorigini.org or on other internet channels of the Organizer: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik-Tok, etc.
13.2. Transportation to the location of the workshop is the responsibility of the participants.
13.3. Participants in the workshop must present this Service Contract, signed in two copies, upon arrival at the workshop.
13.4. In case weather conditions do not allow the conduct of activities according to the initial schedule, the organizer reserves the right to modify the activities in such a way that the safety of the participants is not compromised.
14.1. Groove On Cultural Association for Sustainable Development, with headquarters in Bucharest, 13 Turnu Măgurele Street, Sector 4, registered in the Special Register of Associations and Foundations under number 64/31.07.2012, VAT number 30709684, with account in lei no. IBAN RO25 RZBR 0000 0600 1508 7905, opened at Raiffeisen Bank – Victoriei Agency, represented by president Onea Viorel Ionuț, as the Organizer, taking into account the provisions of law 129/2018 on the protection of personal data of camp participants, guarantees that it has taken the best measures to ensure that the personal data provided is fully secure, in compliance with legal provisions.
14.2. The Organizer may collect personal data from the Beneficiary only after the Beneficiary has voluntarily and explicitly consented by ticking the “Terms and Conditions” checkbox in the Registration Form.
14.3. Personal data provided during the camp registration process will be used for the purpose of informing about programs organized by the Organizer, transmitting promotional information, as well as communicating organizational details.
14.4. Data storage will be done for a period of 5 years, except for accounting and administrative data, which will be kept until the legal norms in force require.
14.5. If you find that certain initially transmitted data are not correct or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible.
